The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has said that the appointment he made two days ago of the Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Usman Jibril, as the Emir of Nasarawa will promote Peace and Unity.
Recall that Jibril was declared Emir on Thursday following his selection by the Nasarawa Emirate Council and subsequent approval by the state governor, Tanko Umaru Almakura.
In a tweet by Buhari’s media aide, Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated Jibril on his new appointment.
