I'm Broke, I Can't Afford N55M To Buy Nomination Ticket - Buhari

The President of Nigeria, Muhammed Buhari, has declared that N55million to buy APC presidential nomination form is outrageous, as he cannot afford the amount. 

A member of the National Executive Committee of the party said, "Buhari has complained to the party that he could not afford it(nominate form)."

Recall that President Buhari, had, in four years ago complained over the N27.5 Million nomination forms for the Presidential ticket and had argued that if he had his way, he would have ensured downward review of the fees.

But APC National Working Committee, instead has reviewed the nomination forms upward to the sume of N55Million. While the Presidential Nomination form goes for N50 million, the Expression of Interest Form costs N5Million.
